Top Djs from across the UK will be spinning tunes at the North East’s biggest live music weekend this summer.

Hardwick Live will run across two full days over the weekend Saturday and Sunday 18 and 19 August, in the grounds of Hardwick Hall at Sedgefield, County Durham.

Indie favourites Kaiser Chiefs will headline Saturday’s show, following a star-studded line up featuring Vintage Trouble, Ash and Heather Small.

And on Sunday, Happy Mondays will lead a packed programme which includes Shed Seven, Feeder, Echo & the Bunnymen and Melanie C.

Alongside the bands and singers, organisers have laid on a number of top DJs who will be mixing up a storm, as the weekend welcomes the return of some of the industry’s biggest names.

Brandon Block is back for a second successive year, and will appear on Saturday’s programme. Having shot to fame in the early 90s as one of London’s leading club DJs, he quickly became one of the scene’s biggest producers.

With residencies around the world, it was his involvement with Ibiza’s Space nightclub which made him a name synonymous with the dance scene and he later went on to become a well-known TV personality.

Danny Rampling will also be bringing back the sound of the 90s dance era as he too returns for a second year. One of the founders of the UK’s rave and club scene, he was the man behind London’s first ever Balearic race night.
